Hello everyone,

I'm glad to announce that the new Apertis v2022dev3 development release is now available!

Apertis v2022dev3 is the third development release of the Apertis
v2022 stable release flow that will lead to the LTS Apertis v2022.0
release in March 2022.

You can find the full release notes at
https://www.apertis.org/release/v2022dev3/releasenotes/

This release ships the linux 5.10 LTS kernel and is the second one to be
based on Bullseye.

Some highlights for this release:

 * Updates from Debian Bullseye
   This release is the second one based on Debian Bullseye, bringing plenty of
   upstream updates and features compared to the Buster baseline.

 * GNU coreutils replaced by uutils-coreutils
   From this release the basic userland covered by coreutils is now provided by
   a modern and maintained implementation based in Rust meeting Apertis
   license expectations.

 * GPL-3 GnuPG replaced by sequoia-gpgv
   Now a minimal shim using Rust-based sequoia-gpgv provides the functionality
   required from GnuPG following the Apertis licensing expectations.

 * Fixed Function and HMI images to replace minimal and target
   Reference images for Apertis have been adapted and renamed to provide clearer
   purpose to each image type, providing a better guide to developers looking at
   the reference images for their product recipes.

 * Improved Raspberry Pi support
   Users of Raspberry Pi will find a better support in Apertis including
   RPi 4000 model support and graphical interface now booting without input
   devices attached.
