Hello everyone,
I'm glad to announce that the new Apertis v2023dev2 development release
is now available!
Apertis v2023dev2 is the third development release of the Apertis
v2023 stable release flow that will lead to the LTS Apertis v2023.0
release in March 2023.
For more details about the Apertis release flows and support periods,
see https://www.apertis.org/designs/release-flow/
You can find the full release notes at
https://www.apertis.org/release/v2023dev2/releasenotes/
This release ships the Linux 5.15 LTS kernel and it is based on Debian
Bullseye.
Some highlights for this release:
* Support automated license compliance for Rust packages
Since Rust packages are statically linked the Automated License
Compliance [1] process has been improved to support them.
* Aptly publisher support
In order to provide additional features, such as cloud storage,
newer releases of Apertis will start using aptly as publisher.
* Dashboard improvements
Having a good general view of packages' issues is a key element for
Apertis. In this regard Dashboard [2] has been improved to provide
additional information and filtering support.
