I'm glad to announce that the new Apertis v2026dev2 development release
is now available!
Apertis v2026dev2 is the third development release of the Apertis
v2026 stable release flow and the first one based on Debian Trixie. It
will lead Apertis v2026.0 release in March 2026.

This release ships the Linux 6.12 kernel and is based on Debian Trixie
but later releases in the v2026 channel will be tracking newer kernel
versions up to the next LTS.
As this is the first release after a rebase, all the packages have been
updated to the version available in Debian Trixe, from which below is a
list of highlights:
- GCC 14.2.0-19
- Glib 2.84.2-1
- Glibc 2.41-8
- Systemd 257.6-1
- OpenSSL 3.5.0-2
- GNU TLS 3.8.9-2
- Nginx 1.26.3-3
- Gstreamer 1.26.1-1

Hello everyone,
I'm glad to announce that Apertis v2025.1 stable release is now available!
Apertis v2025.1 is the second stable release of the Apertis v2025
release flow. Apertis is committed to maintaining the v2025 release
stream until December 2026.
This release is based on Debian Bookworm and ships the latest LTS Linux
kernel in the 6.12.x series.
